UART Adapter - VPW J1850 Protocol

Hi,

I recently purchased the OBDII-UART adapter v2.1, naïvely assuming that my vehicle uses one of the supported protocols. I have come to find out that it uses VPW J1850 which is not listed as a supported protocol. Is there a way I might be able to modify the Arduino library to support it, or if not, is there another product that supports this protocol (ideally compatible with the Arduino library)?

J1850 can't be supported by changing any Arduino code.
