Unable to connect to OBD

I'm unable to get my OBD kit working correctly.

I have compiled and uploaded the code but when I plug it into the OBD port (Subaru 08 WRX ADM) I get on the screen a N then a M with a green tick then a few characters over a red X then on the next line a T0.

Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

Use Arduino 1.7.8 from http://www.arduino.org/software and this issue will be solved.
