Compatibility with European OBD

Hello, I would like to know if the obd 2 is the same in europe and if the telematics kit is compatible with my car (Renault Clio 3).
If it is, I will order a kit.

For cars manufactured after 2008 (no matter European or Japanese ones), they should all have no issue. I play with all the stuff on my Audi A3 E-tron.
