Ignition ON/OFF emulation...

Does the Ignition ON/OFF emulation, when set to OFF does it cause the emulator to provide power to the device but prevents the emulator from responding to requests as a vehicle may do when the ignition switch is off?

The power on OBD-II port is always ON whether in real car or with emulator.
