Hi there,
Just got my ONE+ and it seems great!
I want to make sure that I will be able to differentiate between a parked car and a car that is disconnected from the device.
It seems that the device powers down and doesn't send and messages to the server while PARKED. How can I know that the car is indeed parked and that the device has not been removed. Is there a way to send an ALIVE ping every x minutes to the server to know that the device is still connected and operational?
Thanks!
ONE+ PARKED vs DISCONNECTED
Re: ONE+ PARKED vs DISCONNECTED
It is possible to send keepalive signal when parked as OBD port has power when ignition is off. You need to modify the code a bit to archieve this and be aware communication during parked time will sooner or later exhaust the car battery.
Re: ONE+ PARKED vs DISCONNECTED
Anybody know how to modify software to send data when car is parked? Thanks a lot.
