Freematics ONE/SIM5360 issue

Post by rjpatawaran »

I bought 3 Freematics ONE (2 with SIM5360, 1 without network module). One of the board (green) with SIM5360 had the micro usb port broke off. I transfered the SIM5360 xbee to the board (blue, OBD-F1 V1.2 2017-05-24) without a network module. I tried to run my software but it is not detecting the SIM5360 module.

SIM5360 module requires 5V vcc while standard xbee seat has 3.3v and that's the case with your other unit coming without SIM5360.
You can send back the one with damaged USB port and we will replace you with a new one. Please be advised it is not recommended to use unit without enclosure and that will more likely to cause damage.

Could you send an email to support (at) freematics.com.au and provide your order number? It's hard for me to match the item return with user on the forum.
