Freematics ONE+ Traccar Edition - Access Point

Post by AvanStiphout »

Hi There,

I was wondering whether it is possible to configure the wireless network adapter in the Freematics ONE+ as a WiFi access point and then (in combination with a data sim) allow folks in the car to connect to the access point with their phones / tablets and connect to the internet accordingly.

Perhaps not an intended use of this device, but since the hardware is all present, I thought I'd ask.

Thanks!

ESP32 is possible to work as a soft AP. But a soft router is yet to be developed by some guru.
