iOS apps that work with Freematics ONE+

Post by aeiro »

I'm interested in working with the ONE+ to build a solution for my car (as a hobbyist) and I'm having trouble figuring out whether the ONE+ is supported by any apps available on either iOS or Android (something like OBD Fusion for iOS or Torque for Android). I'd like to use my phone as a display for the device in addition to uploading it to my server via a sim from hologram.io.

An off-the-shelf product might suit you better than a development kit.

I'm a software developer - I was planning on developing my own remote headless telematics solution using the freematics platform, which is what attracted me to Freematics in the first place. But in addition, it'd also be nice to have at least some integration with a mobile app so the driver can view realtime data as the car is being driven. But if not, I'm able to develop my own app - just wanted to make sure there wasn't already work out there.

Look, you never ask for Arduino's company for an App to test their board.
Anyway, you can use Freematics Hub for a go of a complete telemetry system.
