I have been analyzing some of the data from the Freematics ONE. I have the M8030 GPS receiver unit with the molex connector.
It seems like GPS data samples come in at 7Hz instead of 10Hz. Here is a plot of the delay between GPS samples:
The average is 142.9947 milliseconds, which corresponds to 6.9932 Hz. This is after bad GPS samples were filtered out by checking for extreme altitude values.
7Hz is plenty fast, but I am wondering if the datalogger doesn't configure the GPS receiver to be at the fastest rate by default. It may also be a problem with the firmware.
Any idea how to collect at the full 10Hz?

Re: 10Hz GPS module collecting at 7Hz with v4 datalogger
I just found the post about changing the data rate of the external GPS (http://freematics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1759). I will have to try that out once I get the USB cable.
