PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Post by mtvwauto »

we are attempting to use the emulator Mk2 for a vehicle that has no OBD2 plug to pass inspection. So far the analyzer says no valid signal received. What am I doing wrong? I have tried various protocols and it seems to connect to a handheld. Onscreen connection appears valid.......vin, rpm, etc. Can someone work me thru this? Thanks!

You may need to initialize the emulator with "normal" values (e.g. connect with GUI) to get through your analyzer. Most power-on values are 0 which are not realistic.

Correct me if I am wrong please, the emulator has a compacity of holding 10 paid values
Is it possible the requirements to pass require more than the 10 pins? Or you may not be putting the right pins in, or the vehicle is required to do the rpm. Checks that I see on some trucks. My question is how do we know the required pids? I could be wrong. Please reply
Thank you.
