Android App talking to the Freematics v2
Re: Android App talking to the Freematics v2
Thank you. But how do I manage to get a connection to the OBD-2 Adapter? I tried with different bluetooth serial terminal apps like BlueTerm, but I could not get a connection to the device. I used the sample data logger https://github.com/stanleyhuangyc/Freem ... datalogger.

The stock V3 datalogger firmware and "Bluetooth Terminal" by Qwerty worked best for me. You should pair the android device to your Freematics manually before trying to connect to it in the app, Freematics adapter should be called "obd2ecu" with BT-PIN "1234".
Another Terminal I use is "Bluetooth GPS" by GG MobLab in the "NMEA" Tab, there you have the ability to pause the log which the other terminal apps don't have.
