External GPS antenna ?

hi there !

That's a question for FM team or any adapter owner : i see in the specs that GPS option uses embedded ceramic antenna. I'm concerned about the signal quality as most of the time, OBD2 plug has no direct view to the sky. Would it be possible to use an external antenna with the adapter, or are my concerns not really founded ? Feedback from real users would be really appreciated.

We don't have setup with external GPS antenna yet. A OBD-II extension cable may help.

can any external GPS with NMEA configured output be used instead connected to the GPS UART connection?
