Hi, I am quite new here and I suppose to have a problem caused by my USBasp.
I got the Freematics OBD-II Adapter (GPS embeddable) including the USBasp Programmer which is offered in the shop.
When i plug it into my USB port, Windows 7 detects it as "other devices - USB2.0-Serial" (see Bild1.png attached below). This does not look very familiar with the tutorials I have found online.
However, I can manually force the device to accept the newest USBasp driver from http://www.protostack.com/blog/2011/05/usbasp-driver-for-windows-7-and-windows-vista-x64/ (tried others as well).
This only works when I proceed as marked in the figures https://www.dropbox.com/s/cpw4tiyvbtnkzwm/Bild2.png?dl=0 (sorry, image was too big for upload).
If i finally try to upload a sketch using Arduion IDE I get the error message as illustrated in attached Bild3.jpg.
Any advice what I handle completely wrong, or do I have a problem with my USBasp?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: No sketch upload possible - USBasp driver problem?
Thanks for your fast feedback, I already tested that one. No success.
I also tested on different PCs but it seems the USBasp is not working properly.
Finally I used an Arduino UNO eval board as ISP and this instantaneously did its job.
Thanks, Christoph
