I have got the exact same problem as u have. There is a firmware issue with this device.
Did u find any solution for it??

Emulator not connecting
I got the MK2 Version yesterday.
when i tried to connect with the gui it showed the message and usb or port not connected even though it got a COM port no on my laptop.
then i tried to do the firmware update, which when connected showed the error as " emulator not able to switch to the bootloader ...
