Hello,
I would like to know the value range and precision for the Engine RPM control.
I need to be able to set the RPM in steps of 10 RPM and even more important, the RPM has to be stable at the set value.
Thanks

You may be interested in our next version of the OBD-II emulator, which has a GUI on PC and iPad. It will be released shortly.

Haello Stanley,

The advantage of your current solution is that there is no PC or any other additional hardware or software required and easy to use, which is exactly what I need.
Could give me the specifications of the current solution? Value range of the engine RPM control and precision?

Stanley,

Did you get my forum post? I need instructions on how to use the current version of the emulator via Serial.

The serial interface of the current emulator is only used to altering the protocol that the emulator uses. The commands can be found in the product description.

Ok, so how can I have the ignition turn on, vin display through the port and so on? Do I have to reprogram the device?

You cannot adjust by 10RPM with current version of emulator. Only the new version (with software GUI) allows you to do this. The current physical knob controlled version is adjusted by about 100rpm. The range is 0-16000rpm. For ranges of all OBD-II PIDs, please refer to this.
