GPS won’t work

I have the Freematics ONE+ Model B (built in cellular and GPS). I cannot for the life of me get GPS to work either via cellular or the dedicated GPS receiver. I’ve tried simple_gps_test, datalogger, and my own code to try to get it to work, but have had no luck. Simple GPS just hangs on “waiting for GPS signal…” and datalogger never gives any results back with the dedicated GPS module and a lat/long of (0,0) with the cellular module. I’ve tried taking the device outside, letting it run for 2 hours to acquire a signal, etc. I do have an active SIM installed. Any advice or is my unit defective?
