Hello.

I'm trying to decide which from your products suits my needs.

My goal is to have a standalone CANbus sniffer and data logger for trucks. I don't need it to parse CAN data, I just need it to record in a file the raw data within the CAN frames (CAN ID, Control Field, Data Field) no matter the protocol.

If the truck works with J1939 and the sniffer shows the PGNs, it will be just a plus to me, since I can parse it myself from the stored CAN IDs.

Can I achieve my goal with Freematics ONE or ONE+ A?

You need ONE+ Model H for trucks.

The feature description of models ONE+ A and ONE+ B contains "CAN bus data sniffing".

So why can't we use ONE+ A or ONE+ B to sniff raw CAN Bus data from trucks?

Trucks use J1939 which is supported by model H only.
