Looking for some help in regards to picking up the trans temp from my ECU on a 2005 chevy 6.0 LS engine and 4L80e automatic transmission. So far from what I have found via google there isn't much out there for appropriate code to do this, though there are all kinds of PID's offered for various other gauges.
There is a company that makes a product called "Scan gauge" which is basically just an OBD2 gauge display and they advertise that it does infact pick up and display trans temp so there must be a way to do it. I wonder if there would be a way to find and use their PID?
Pic of my swap project for attention!
Thanks for the help!

Re: Help with transmission temp OBD2
Not sure if this would be helpful, but if you have the One+ B there is a sketch to do some CAN sniffing. I'm not really familiar with it but might help discover some data:
