ONE+ for phone app monitoring and GPIO

Hello, I recently came across this great product and think it might be just what I'm looking for.
I would like to use this as a wireless dongle to interface with my iPhone via a suitable app (OBDFusion).
I currently monitor 9 PIDs at once on my iOS app, does the ONE+ have the capability to act as a wireless dongle and transmit those PIDs?
Will I have to manually configure which PIDs I am monitoring?
I would also like to use this as an Arduino interface.
It would constantly poll RPM and set the two GPIO pins (these seem to be intended for the GPS, can they be re-purposed?) high/low depending on the RPM.
Are these tasks possible?
