Freematics one+ OBD over UART or SPI?

Hi,
I recently purchased Freematics one+. Now I am going through libraries provided. There is some confusion regarding OBD. Is OBD connected over UART or SPI. I also have gone through schematics and it seems that I can access OBD over SPI. but in arduino code there is some thing like OBDUART which is confusing.
Can any one please explain how Can I access OBD in freematics one+?
