Access to additional I/O

Post by mj43 »

Is it possible to 'easily' access any of the I/O pins? For my project I need access to I2C and analogue pins to add some additional sensors. Are any of these available on the ten pads on the edge of the board?

Two GPIO pins (GPIO32/33) which can be used for analog input are led out to the 4-pin connector on the enclosure.

Hi thanks, but aren't used by the GPS? Is there any I/O available on the 10 pins circled in the attached file?

I know it's an old thread. Did you find out how to use additional GPIOs?

Only two exposed GPIO can be used.

Can the external GPIOs be used to connect an I2C device? This would be an easy way to expand GPIOs, e.g. using a chip like this: https://www.instructables.com/id/IO-Exp ... d-Arduino/
