No stable GPS logging - Serial interface issue?

Hi,
thanks for the updated OBD-II library, works fine now (without line 11 in OBD.cpp) but I still have problems logging GPS_NMEA and OBD data.
When plugging the logger to the OBD port it does what it is supposed to do but as the code enters the reconnect() and init() function (after some data logging the ignition was turned off) it does not start logging when I turn on the ignition again.
Memory does not seem to be the problem, probably something related to the AT commands for the OBDUART?
Anybody observed similar issues? Help would be appreciated!
