Connecting iPad App to MK2 Emulator

Hi. I am not able to connect to the MK2 Emulator using the iPad App. The emulator is not showing up on the device. I have tried with an iPad running OS7 and one running OS8 and neither one recognizes the Emulator. Has anyone else had this problem and know what's happening? Thanks.
