Wireless Option Question

Hi and good day everyone,

I just have a small question regarding the "Wireless Option" of the "Freematics OBD-II Adapter" (OBD-C).

I want to have communication via Bluetooth between the Adapter and the PC to retrieve data, and I don't want Bluetooth communication between any portable devices (iOS, Android, etc.).
If Im right I need to go with the "BT 2.1" option for the adapter.
My question is: Do I need to get the "BLE USB Dongle" for this purpose? or I can have data streamed via Bluetooth to the PC without it.
In this case what is the "BLE USB Dongle" used for?

Thanks in advance for the support. Really looking forward to play with the adapter.
Regards,
Marco

You should go with BT 2.1. Most laptop computers has Bluetooth and you don't need to USB dongle.
