ELM327 Connecting to Emulator

Post by cptreese »

I just got my emulator in, super excited, I was hoping to connect this emulator to an ELM327 but it can't find the protocol. Any tips on how to get this working?

Ensure the emulator is set to simulate a car's OBD-II protocol properly. Most emulators allow you to select a specific protocol, such as ISO 9141-2, CAN, KWP2000, or others. Make sure the emulator is set to a protocol supported by the ELM327 device.

Hello there, wanted to know if got any results trying to connect elm327 to emulator. I have tried several lectors for CAN traffic but emulator only seems to be sending CAN messages with all 0 data, even after modifying values using Freematics GUI or raw AT commands.
