Is anybody aware of what the problem is with getting VIN returns regarding Ford and French cars ( not pre 2008 , these are 2013 and upwards including 2017 cars )

Got a Can Bus PCB designed and protoyped, we used a Freemantics MkI Emulator to test the comms, ( and yes its not takling correctly ) the question is quite simple does the Freematics Mk1 emulate or have a 120ohm terminating resistor as would a car across H and L.
Or is this not needed when ...
