I have exactly the same problem with the white/grey display.
I bought the Kit#3 with: (Order ID: #1490)
- OBD-II Adapter: Model B (I2C + MEMS ..
- Arduino Board: Arduino MEGA 2560 R3
- GPS Module: U-Blox G6010 5Hz
- Wireless: Bluetooth 2.1
- Accessories: 8GB microSD
- Accessories: Car ...
