I have the same problem. I have tried different sim cards but with no result. They all stuck in activating! I have tested the sim with other tracking device and it works!
I have changed the APN via app before and now when I am trying to remove it via APP (as your suggestion) it does not allow it ...

Hello. Hope you are doing well.
I have the traccar edition.
I used the freematics builder to change the APN and sim card was not working.
So I have changed the Sim card and trying to change the APN for new sim card. But no matter how many time I try to flash the device, It remains on the old APN ...
