Is it normal to wait for several days till the SIM gets allowed to register into the network?

I have a One+ Traccar Edition and using it with the supplied hologram SIM. In the config.h file, I set the APN to hologram:

#define CELL_APN "hologram"

But the device keeps searching for a sim connection:
