FAT32 is limited to 32GB in partition size and 4GB individual file sizes.

It may be the bias of the dongle, plugged into the OBD-II Data Port -- it's unlikely to be pointed straight down, and so the full 1G of force is not going to be exerted on that single axis. When positioned at some other angle, the planet's gravity will be applied across more than one axis.

I can't seem to find it in the specs, so I am asking here -- does this unit have a built-in battery that will allow it to continue functioning independently for a short period of time if it is unplugged from the OBD-II data port?
